Important News

Due to extenuating circumstances, October 3 will be the last Sunday meal we will host this year.  In January of 2022 we will revisit to determine if we will begin again.

As of October 9th, the Saturday food pantry will be moving to Heart of the Canyons Church in Lake View Terrace.

Sunday Afternoon Meal

4 PM

Sunday meals began several years ago by a church member who initially handed out sack lunches to the homeless and needy around the Sunland-Tujunga community. God put it on her heart to go a step further and provide a place where the homeless and needy could come, not just to get a meal, but to be served a meal. Shortly thereafter, that dream became a reality and as a result hot meals have been served every Sunday afternoon at Chapel for the last 17 years.

Several churches in the community have since collaborated with the Sunday meal preparations and service on a rotating basis at Chapel and for special holiday meals.

Special thanks to:

  • Sunland Neighborhood

  • Firepoint Church

  • All Nations Church

  • Shadow Hills Presbyterian

During COVID-19 Shelter in Place, these services are drive-through

pick-up or delivery only.

Most Excellent Way

A Christian addiction recovery program.

Wednesdays 7:30 PM

There is truly no community that is not impacted by addictions. Without help and support, success is almost impossible.

If you are struggling and need support, please join us as we recover and celebrate together.

"The Most Excellent Way" started in order to restore confidence to the addicted in the Word of God. In fact, the Bible provides a real solution for that struggle, whether it be with alcohol ... drugs ... sexual sin ... pornography ... whatever.

Since 1986, "The Most Excellent Way" has made its primary goal to declare the power that God makes available to a person to overcome addictions through the Cross.  We had become slaves to our addiction, but the Bible holds out this great promise:  that through Christ we can be made free.  Jesus promised:  "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed"  ~John 8:36.
