More about The Assemblies of God »

Our Purpose:

We exist to be a point of Connection between God and the people of God and to act as a Catalyst for personal growth, resulting in people becoming a Conduit of grace.

All of this flows naturally out of our Core: We exist as a people separated from the world's values to worship the One True Living God. His Son, Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. This Core is the reactor that fuels everything we do.

Our Values:

Authenticity - Being real with God and each other.

Worship - Along with the Word, it changes our hearts.

Scripture - Verbally inspired and infallible word of God and the revelation of God to man.

Teamwork - Rather than top down leadership, we have ministry teams where each member's input is valued.

Community/Family - Healthy people develop in the context of a healthy community. While we have separate ministries for different age groups and genders, much of what we do is done together.

Our Vision:

It is our vision that Chapel of the Hills be a church where people of different ethnicities, different theological backgrounds, ages, and economic levels can come together, exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, and make Him real in their own life and in the lives of others. It is also our belief that the church should be a living organism and that relationships take priority over programs. This creates an alternative church environment.
